AS she found out with two-year-old Jasper, Nicole Humphries has
tough pregnancies — and new baby Atticus was no different.
While there were no major complications, she says it was harder
this time around trying to manage a toddler, so the Frenchs Forest mum was
happy when her second son arrived two weeks early.
“I was in labour for a few days stopping and starting because he
was posterior,” she says.
“So they broke my waters and he came quickly after that, it was
about four or six hours and he was born.
“Jasper
is a really good big brother and Atticus is doing very well.”
With his name
drawing inspiration from To Kill a Mockingbird, Atticus has just started
rolling around, and Nicole says it won’t be long until he will be on the move.
“He has never
stopped moving, he can’t keep still for a minute,” she says.
“Jasper is
obsessed with dinosaurs so that’s his main focus in life, and Atticus just
watches everything he does.”
Nicole says
while Jasper looks like his dad, Atticus looks like her — but you can
definitely tell they are brothers.
“We took them
for a farm stay and got to look after the animals which the boys loved.”
