MAN mountain Calum von Moger does not sugar coat the fact
there is no sugar in his super-clean diet.
The former
Anglesea footballer, and current World Fitness Federation (WFF) Mr Universe,
works out six days per week and sticks to a strict food plan to keep in shape.
Likened to
Arnold Schwarzenegger, the 24-year-old moved to Los Angeles last year to throw
his weight around on the US body building scene.
He returned home
this month to appear at the Arnold Classic in Melbourne but told theGeelong Advertiser he
was most craving a vegemite sandwich and visit to his favourite Surf Coast
beaches.
“I was born with
a physique that lends itself well to bodybuilding training and I have always
had a fast metabolism,” he said.
“My body has
always responded well to fitness.
“People do
different things to give them the edge they are looking for, but it is
definitely best for the body to keep training as naturally as possible.”
Von Moger will
defend his Mr Universe crown in France this June.
He shares tips
for physical and mental strength in Saturday’s gt magazine, free with theWeekend Geelong Advertiser.
