Kim Kardashian and her younger sister Khloe Kardashian
have continued their tour of their ancestral homeland and are taking in some
cultural sights.
The Keeping Up With
the Kardashians stars are visiting Armenia along with Kanye West and daughter
North West, and cousins Kourtni and Kara,
This weekend they have
visited the town of Gyumri, a city outside the Armenian capital of Yerevan
where their ancestors used to live.

The town where Robert
Kardashian's family came from is a far cry from Calabasas with its ruins and
corrugated irons roofs.
The Klan haven't just used their trip to Armenia taking
and sharing selfies. They have also been paying their respects along the way.

Earlier in the week,
Khloé and Kim visited the Mother Armenia statue in Yerevan, a memorial
commemorates the 1915 mass killing of Armenians in the Ottoman Empire.
The usually jovial
sisters looked solemn as they attended the heartbreaking memorial, walking
side-by-side
